Here's a little knife and sheath I recently completed.  I don't normally work with 1095 as I find it difficult to heat treat but I think I got this one right.

The knife overall length is approximately 7.5" with a 3.5" sabre ground blade made from 1/8" thick 1095 steel with the finish from the heat treat left on and buffed with a Scotchbrite belt.  The scales are Cumaru or Brazilian Teak with brass rivets.

Just picked up this 36" length of O1 precision ground tool steel from the Metal Supermarket in London which is right next door to Lee Valley Tools. Got it for $46 plus taxes which I thought was pretty decent. Hoping to make a knife or two similar to the Pathfinder knife that Dave Canterbury uses and one similar to the Busse SAR 5 which are very similar in design.
